The Café de l'île

At the heart of the Vassivière island, with its terrace facing the lake, at the very end of the building of the Centre international d’art et du paysage, the Café de l’île – ideal space for experimentation and sharing - offers one of the most beautiful views of the lake of Vassivière.

Every year, during the summer, an artist is invited to invest and reinterpret this original and friendly space allowing visitors to experience an artistic and aesthetic through the work he designes specifically for this site.

Platform of conviviality, the Café de l’île is a place of a social experience that feeds over the years of new and singular artistic interventions.
